I am still all about hanging the whole limb in your front yard for all to see.    :-D

When do you think you will do the cut out?

I hope to do it this coming weekend he had bought 3 hives and they came with to Large Brood box's in each
and 4 med's All these are 10 frame and the frames are Hard Board Plastic and the Maker Glued the board to
the frames So I need to order some frames so I can cut out and rubber band this Goliath Hive
I did consider Making a Tripod Cutting the Limb and Hanging it on a Pulley move it too his Yard
it would be a Sight to see
I could then just hang swarm Box's all around the yard may turn out a Better Move  :-D
Also lower it Cut out a Bit at a time re-queen the Cut out
Turn this into the Mother Hive

I should make another post but I'll ask here one time
Did I make a Mistake when I Hived my Trap out
In the Picture above, I took my ten med frames of bees
Put them in his Hives,I left one 10 frame Large Box
with Plastic Board on the Bottom Board
I put a Queen excluder on the med.box and then stacked the remainder
on top.
I'm wondering If I should have  used a 3 box total, and Put the med Box
with the Bees and Brood on the Bottom Board and Not the Large Brood Box
On the Bottom now thew bees have to travel through the empty Frames to
enter and Exit
DoI need to Run over and Make a change ?

Hey Tommyt. Did you ever do anything with that hive? I was curious of the outcome if you did.
