Feeding a frame of old pollen?

Well' not that old. I have some frames of pollen that was in a hive I lost back early summer. I froze them then stored in bags.
Will the bees eat the pollen or just clean it out and use the cone?

Considering that bees use overwintered pollen for spring, I wouldn't have any hesitation putting it on a hive.

Since it is from your bees and you know why you lost the hive, and it wasn't because of disease, I would have no problem giving it to another hive either.

Just wait for a few more years, you'll be even more uncertain. :-D
