Two Queens

While installing a nuc not long ago, I found the queen during the frame transfer and then found a second queen which looked newly hatched due to her color. I put them both in seeing I didn't have anywhere to put the young one, and decided to let them fight it out. Was this the correct thing to do :?

They'd most likely fight it out or one could leave with some of the bees from the nuc.

I personally would have taken one and banked her or used her for something else.
