Hi All,
Last weekend I did my fist swarm removal,
It was pretty involved, but it was well worth the experiance.
the hive was about 600mm (2ft) x 900mm (3ft) and there was 4 layers of comb,
the girls were calm and well behaved, I got out of it sting free (Pity my italians aren't that nice).
It was in the was of a two story house, right up under the eaves, down to almost the bottom of the window of the second story level.
here are a few pics

Congrats!
I have enjoyed the swarm captures and hive removals that I was able to do. It is kind of a little adrenaline rush.

Hi JP,
I cut the wax to fit Full depth frames,
there was enough to fill 14 frames, so I put 5 foundation frames in with them.
and they are drawing out the frames nicely now.
In 2 weeks I will probably wack a 3rd super on top
I am on good nector flow at present, so they are busy girls
cheers
Mark
