2nd swarm of the season (pics)

Well this is the 2nd swarm call I've had this week. It's also the 2nd swarm for the season for me. We've had rain off and on all month. I thought I would have had calls two week ago but due to the rain things have been slow. I'm sure as soon as we get some nice weather the phone is going to be ringing.
This swarm was 3 feet of the ground in a tree. One good shake and they were in the box. The ones that didn't make it in turned and marched right in.

Beautiful! We should all get that kind of luck. Here in Ohio, we're lucky if the temps get into the high 40's! No swarms in sight for a while here. :'(

No matter what you have to love a swarm.
Well at least as long as its not from your hive.

Or 70 feet up in a tree.
Good catch, ck.
