I am amazed at how much sugar they placed in the hive. This hive has been 2 medium supers since it became sick. They really filled up the entire 2 supers with sugar syrup. I was totally shocked today when I went to lift off the top super and could hardly lift it. Mostly uncapped, but lots capped already. I added another third super with drawn comb, as they look crowded now and not sure if the queen has space to lay.
I took off the feeder for now, as they have enough to eat for now. As MB said, I think the broodnest has to much sugar syrup in the cells.
Hopefully adding this third super will help things.
Any more thoughts on this from anyone.
