Howdy from Oregon, Ive been a hobbyist for 10 yrs. 7 of those were in Montana, and 3 here in the Willamette. it has been a wonderful lesson in zonal beekeeping. I'm thankful to have found this forum, this is a great learning tool.

welcome. there are a bunch of us from the PNW on here. several from Oregon. what part of that valley are you in?

i have my apiaries spread out from eugene to corvallis, id like to get some up in the cascades for that mountain wildflower. the river area around you kathyp looks like a wonderful location.

not bad. mostly berries, wild and cultivated. a little higher up and you get more of the fireweed.

Good to see others in the Vally. I know of several in the Yamhill County area. Guess Wine Country can also be Bee country too.
