Noob from AZ
« on: December 21, 2010, 12:25:08 am »
Just thought that I would try this bee thing to help out my garden. Had a neighbor a long time ago who had bees and used to get honey.

I don't know what I am doing, but after a lot of reading and youtube videos, I'm building a ktbh and will buy some bees if it looks at all livable. I mainly want the bees for pollination for now (spring)...maybe get into more if all goes well.

You're in for a treat - they're a pretty amazing team. Definitely the right move for your garden too.

learn all you can and then jump in.  :-)

when you come back, can you go into your profile and put your location.  otherwise, you  will not get the info you need for your area.

welcome to beekeeping....soon.
Someone really ought to tell them that the world of Ayn Rand?s novel was not meant to be aspirational.
