The Buzzing from Above: Trees Bees Love

Once again what I believe to be a Cherry Tree in front of our house is in full bloom.

We should probably get it pruned at some point. Especially with two cars parked under it. A lot of the limbs seem to be dying, dead, or growing into one another. (The front light being broken was from a different tree during a storm.)

Any who, it's a tree I know Bumblebees fully love and take advantage of. Although I don't think it's a true Willow. Actually the bumblebees don't seem to be up yet. But the honey bees sure love it.

Those were the best photos I could do without a step ladder. I was considering getting up on the roof but I was the only one home at the time.

Some happy accidents in photography.

I'm happy to see a few people have a couple of other trees like this one. I think it's a Black Cherry Tree but might not be native. Not really sure. Anyone have any great trees buzzing with bees now?

No idea. The cherries or barriers are small, black, and I can't say they're good to eat at all.

I have about a half dozen of them too. No berries and the bees are all over them today. I was told they are Yoshino. I have another kind of cherry tree which has not bloomed just yet. The bees are all over the redbuds too.

Heres a link w/ pics of many varities. I think its a type of Yoshino.
