Hello from Houston
« on: September 12, 2008, 08:53:57 pm »
Hello, Just a little curious about beekeeping. No plans really, just looking. Been reading some tutorials and what-not. Expecting hurricane force winds in about 2 or 3 hours. Just gonna hang out and read yalls post and maybe ask a question or two (or a 100, who knows). Never really really realized that bee keeping was such a big deal. I drive by beekeepers equipment all of the time but never really gave it much thought. Nice to meet yall. MJD

Welcome to the forum. Hope you fare well through the hurricane.Beekeeping is very educational and relaxing. It takes the mind off of the rest of the days problems when working the hives. Maybe you'll catch the bug if you hanfg out long enough. :)

MJD.  Welcome to our forum, so nice you found us.  You will be reading and reading and reading.  You will find out truly how much fun beekeeping can be, and so interesting to delve into their little secret lives.  They bring us such joy.  One day, I don't have a doubt in my mind, you will be so deeply held under their spell by learning about them, that you will want to go deeper into their lives, hands on, and get your own bees, until then, enjoy to learn about the honeybee.  Have the most wonderful and awesome day, Cindi
