No difference.  The bees can't hold on to the nylon as well and so you tend to have less clinging bees.  But they both work fine.  I have several of each.

I use suits that are made out of chem suits that i get from the local safety supply center. they only cost 5.00 and last about a year with a little care. also are great for removals just throw away after getting covered in honey. bees can't hold on or sting Thur.

I'm a very low cost bee keeper.
