Dealing with bee poop
« on: January 18, 2017, 09:55:58 pm »
It warmed up a bit today.  Over 40...almost 45deg f.  I figured the bees would be out taking care of business.  Well they obviously did.  Loads of bee poop on the front of the hive and landing board.  I'm not going to do anything about it until spring.  I'm not too concerned about the front of the hive since that is just styrofoam insulation.  There is a lot on the landing board though.

Will this just wash off with a bit of water.  Should I even worry about it?
You are what you think.

spring rain will wash it off.
Winter is coming.

I can't say I hate the government, but I am proudly distrustful of them.
