please does anyone know if bees work flowering sugar cane?

thanks for the replies and the article   I was told the bees would work the flowers but all the cane here is in flower and the bees aren't touching it, they love the actual peeled cane though.

my bees are 200 ft. from 8oo acres of sugar cane and they don't work it at all.i never seen flowers on it either.     schawee
