Hi everyone,
Captured this really nice swarm early this morning. It was at ground level and very easy to catch. They were a little "flighty" to say the least. Very gentle but hard to calm down for some reason. I saw the tree they came from and it was about 30 feet from the swarm. I believe they must have landed hours before I got there. There are a couple of videos although one is sideways. Sorry.
Enjoy,

Nice Swarm, Pics, and Vids!! :bee: :bee: :bee:
It sure made the "swarm" we were called to, two days ago, that would not have filled a cigarette pack look bad.

Man JP I sure hope so! They were difficult to keep in the box. Every time I opened it tons would fly out. I eventually had to close it and let them settle on the box then put them in with a large paint brush.
The swarm from last Friday after the cutout was much larger. I have them on a deep and a medium and I just put the third jar of feed on them. The jars I use are about 3/4 of a gallon. They are sucking it down as fast as I can put it on them. They are on new foundation on both boxes. Really nice.

This swarm left a 3 medium set up twice, then a deep, medium set up at another location, to finally be housed for good.
