Got an email picture of this swarm June 30.  I was about out of woodware only having 2 medium supers left and one bottom board I made earlier this year to cover me until I could make a decent one.  Once I saw the size of the swarm I couldn't resist and loaded up the car for the hour drive to go get it.  Checked on them this weekend and they have the original two mediums fully drawn and 6 of 10 in the 3rd medium that I gave them a week later drawn.  Brood pattern is fantastic and already have capped stores.  They are also some of the most gentle bees I have.  Swarm was just shy of 9 lbs according to the scale I brought with me to weight the box before and after.

I'll be setting up extra large swarm traps near here in the spring...  :-D
