Wrapping hives
« on: March 17, 2014, 09:49:56 pm »
Background: I'm a new beekeeper with almost a full years experience having bees.

Has anyone thought about or tried wrapping their hives with landscape fabric.  The thought I had is that the fabric being black would help heat the hive but would let it "breathe".  This was just an idea I had.  Any opinions from the more experienced beekeepers?
