Greg and I went to the Mass Bee fall meeting and honey show on Saturday before venturing up to close up the house in Maine.  It was a nice time, Mike Palmer was there giving his very interesting talk on management, and Dana Stahlman gave a good talk on a queen rearing program they're getting started in Ohio.  He also spoke about small hive beetles.  I like going to those meetings, it's good to see so many Massachusetts beekeepers in one place.  We don't have much in the way of state programs here, and Mass Bee went through a rather disorganized time from what I've heard, but they've pulled together two great meetings so far since we joined, we'll keep going and learning.  Next summer I hope to get out to the field day in Greenfield.
