so I am getting a nuc tomorrw question is should i use drawn out comb I have from an old hive or should I use new foundation for a new hive? as in does it take longer to fix up old foundation then to just make new foundation

My experience is use the old. They can start filling and capping much quicker.

Ya, use what you have. Easier on you and the bees. The bees can clean most old frames up.
