Where to get WinDbg debugger download and symbols

Just wanted to mess around with one of our computers to try and find cheats in the windows games and i knew i needed a debugger but didn't know where to get one

It depends on the game. Are the games written in DOS, Perl, VB, or something else.

This should give you the link to howto and where to get the debugger.

Basically you are using a hex editor you are editing the binary level code.
this can be useful for doing just about any crack but it is difficult to read the programming code.
