I'll get honey from the older hives in the field, these, i may get 30 pounds or so.
 I started one of these hives in May, the other is a hive that I used the newspaper and combined two slow working hives, the new queen must have shookem up because they're going from day light til dark.

Wow, you have hive stands just like mine. Did you make those?? Are they open on the bottom for the SBB??

 yes, made them using doug fir except for the legs, they're PT
  SBBs  and i can just slide in another board to cut down the
   wind or use a stickt board.
