Title: Honeybee Gathering Water In The Winter
Post by: DavesBees on March 05, 2011, 10:53:32 pm
Here is a honeybee gathering water on a 60 degree day on 18 Feb in Ohio.  The bees had 2 choices; go to the bathroom and get a drink.

There is nothing wrong with your audio.... its just the soundtrack.

Boy they sure move around a lot when drinking. Noticed she cleaned her antenna before taking off.

The leg action may be the result of wind.  It was quite windy that day and it may have affected her grip or balance.  Yes mybees are particularly fastidious and always clean up when leaving the table.
