Rosie had her calf around 4 am. Both doing well but I havn't seen him nurse yet, had meetings & errands from 7-11 so really didn't get a chance to watch too closely. Going out to take some pics now! His name is "Stewart the 1st" Now I just have to keep telling myself..he isn't cute, he will be tasty...he isn't cute...He's only "temporary". All black, havn't handled his head yet so don't know if he is horned or polled. Polled is usually dominant though. J

you know you shouldn't name freezer pets!

That's why all the boys will be Stewart...1st, 2nd...3rd... Sounds a bit nicer to the squeamish than Chuck, Rib Eye or Tbone... J

Oh Jody, where has the time gone? Of course I knew that Rosie would calf around this time, but just hadn't thought about it. Stewart the 1st, how cool is that. Now, once you have those pictures, I want to see them, bring em on girl!!! Ooooh, won't be long before you are gonna get a taste of that gal's milk, (I am drooling here, smiling). Life has been just thumpin' along eh? I haven't had much time to spend with my friends here lately, a regret, but not too much I can do about it. Anyhooooo, have fun with little Stewart!!! and Rosie and every other little critter at your place. Beautiful days, lovin', livin', sharin', health. Cindi
