SoCal nooBee, looking to start beekeeping...
« on: March 28, 2011, 02:49:20 pm »
Greetings from Southern Cali, I am looking into starting beekeeping, as it can only help the diminishing populations of honeybees.  My wife and I work in the garden/greenhouse industry and do a lot of anti-Monsanto work with the Institute of Responsible Technology, backing the good fight against genetically modified foods and destructive large Ag practices.

We have not yet acquired hives, but are doing research and will be purchasing this spring.  Anybody willing to help teach hands on in the SoCal Inland Empire area would be greatly appreciated.  I plan on visiting the Glenn Apiaries in Fallbrook for more education on the matter.

Thank you for your time and attention.

Let me give you this warning first before you get bees.   They become very addictive.   Ask anyone here.    They all love their bees.   You will too.   Welcome to the forum.
