Title: Brood - how long can they last
Post by: montauk170 on June 03, 2010, 12:52:12 pm
Last weekend I did an unsuccessful cutout as I didn't capture the queen. They all flew back to the hive leaving
the combs with brood and honey I rubberband to frames. How long can the larvae survive without any nursing bees?

Thanks

Last weekend, they're toast.   Put the frames over a hive of bees to clean them up for you.
