Title: #16. :):):)
Post by: bailey on March 21, 2013, 06:49:53 pm
Got a swarm call while at work.  Hour before I could get off and the swarm had been in the tree for 3 days.
I was fully expecting to arrive to find an empty tree with wax bits where the swarm was.

Thankfully I was wrong. It was a very nice swarm just sitting there waiting for me to come give them a nice new home!!!
Pics below.

Enough is enough already Bailey.  Why don't you just update us at every 5? :-P Oh but then again, that would still be every day.  Congrats to a great start friend.

Does that mean you don't want to hear about the trap that hit today?
It isn't on the rack yet so I wasn't going to report it yet :-D

Y'all gotta understand something. Jp is my mentor.  I gotta try to make him proud by " snatching the pebble from his hand"

Till then I will be working hard to get every swarm in southeast la.

For you younger folks who don't get this look up the old tv show Kung fu.

Aw, go ahead. I got a feeling your going to anyway.  I got my first trapped swarm of the year yesterday and scouts galore on another one today so I am not as jealous as I was.

If the weather clears then I will have # 17 on the rack tonight.
Just got back from running the trap line and I have at least #17 ready to go on the rack and suspect # 18 as well in another.
But they don't count till I have them on the rack!

But since you mentioned it and the weather cleared I guess I better go run the other trap line so I can give a good report tonight.
