Here I was thinking I was caught up and ahead of this season. Wrong!
Went out to super hives today and wound up using almost all of my supers.
Had 3 left when I got back home and the hives behind the house will wind up needing those. !
Back to gluing and nailing. Again.

That might be a good problem to have.

Too many nucs needed to sell to fill orders. Too many nucs and swarms in the yard. Need too many supers! I am being generous or I might think you were bragging---And then there is that BIG FISH!!!! You have a rough life!

I agree!

I built 27 medium supers and frames this past winter. I am down to 10 and I just put 13 hives at the farm for gallberry, most of them have 2 supers. I am pretty sure I am in the same boat. I'm hoping the bees will cap quickly so that I can extract and return the supers.

Not at all bragging. I think I'm a bit dumb hitting this as a problem.
But I have the supers. Just not assembled and another couple hundred frames. Not assembled.
It's a good problem to have but it's going to decrease my over all crop.
The grouper took 3 years to get.

Well, at least you have them on hand to assemble.

Even though I have them they won't help much till fall flow.
Should have made myself stay in the garage one more weekend last winter

Yeap, same here. Should have, would have, could have. My wife says I spend too much time in my barn (workshop) as it is. Maybe it is a good thing that I didn't. :-D

I maxed out with my equipment last year, by late July everything I had was on the hives. It worked out, got all the frames of foundation drawn out and filled during the flow, just had to muscle around some full deeps instead of shallows. I'm not planning any expansion this year, six good hives is all I have time and room for. Built a few more boxes to replace some that are just about rotted out but I'm not even looking for any swarms this year.
