    • Beginner Beekeeping Great Book That Really Helped Me
Hi From PA
« on: September 22, 2009, 03:59:04 am »
Hey Everyone,
Sean here from allentown PA a weird place for trying to manage beekeeping but still doing my best. It was of great interest to me one day to begin doing this and I set out on a mission to find out the how, what I need and what would be required of me to keep a successful Beekeeping. This is just my first year and so far its been a bit rough. Ive done everything required however the crazy rain here just about all summer long and other factors have made it a rocky start so far. Came here to learn more. Thanks!

Hello and Welcome!

This is a great forum to learn more about bees and beekeeping. The tutorials on the main Beemaster page were one of the very first places I began learning about bees about a half dozen years ago. You'll find friends and usually good advice here on the forums, but note that there are often several ways of doing things so you'll have to decide what works best for you.

The 'search' function is great for finding discussions of topics previously discussed. Often when I have a question I can find immediate answers.

Are you involved with a local beekeeping club? Clubs are good places to find mentors and get connected to local beeks:

Lastly, be sure to update your location on your profile. Much of beekeeping is location-specific, so we'll be better able to answer your questions if we know where you are.

Sean, welcome to our forum, so great you have found us, but only one post, come back, we love new members.  Here you will make some new friends, it will be a place that you can share your experiences, and do what you clearly like to do, learn.  Good luck with your bees, you are held under their spell, and you will be with them for many years to come.  Have that great and most awesome day, health.  Cindi
