#7 swarm ?

caught a #7 pound swarm this afternoon. forgot my camera. I am running 8frame mediums. is one box big enough to start with?

id give them the equivelant of two deeps which would be 4 mediums with that many bees they need the space and ventilation  nice catch i hope i get a swarm that size one day :)  Chris

 were they on a limb,in a full Wheelbarrow,or Hand truck :-D

In another thread I asked how much a good hive of bees weigh
I now no they can weigh more than 7lb.s :-D

they absconded on me :?  had to catch them back. put them in new hive in same spot they settled in. they seemed much calmer this time. they drank almost a quart of 1:1 syrup before leaving :?
