Title: Beek with extraction equipment to share in Golden, Colorado area?
Post by: ewart7034 on October 29, 2008, 07:27:59 pm
Greetings,

I have 10 frames full of honey, first time I've harvested.  I don't have extraction equipment, and would like to link up with someone who does and is willing to help me through the extraction/bottling process.  I'd share honey, natch.

Please email me at norton@ewartmail.com if you are that person or know of someone.

Kind Regards,

Norton

Contact your local Beekeepers Association they usually have an extractor they loan out for beginners who haven't gotten one yet.  You you can crush and strain.  I use my cider press for crush and strain, making ciders and juices, even pre-dehydrating foods prior to drying like in making fruit leather.  1 tool, multiple uses.
