Well I run 2 hours from home Thursday after work. A nice couple had about an 10 foot run in the living room ceiling packed with bees and honey.
I let them keep all the honey in the capped, uncapped comb. I kept the brood of course. Brood alone completely filled 1 deep box. Then I vacuumed up all the bees. There must have been 15 lbs of bees I sucked up with the vac. Dang that is a lot of bees.
The wife was happy I had to tear into her walls/ceiling to remove the bees. She told me that now her husband has to redo the living room....
I love her logic. Im just glad I redid the inside of my house with my own free will.... :-D

Yeah. my brain keeps cramping every time I go out and do these jobs and I forget to bring the digital with me. Mrs Dougherty kept taking pictures while I was cutting out the comb. Im not sure she actually got a picture of the entire colony or just me putting the comb in frames and placing the rubber bands over the top of the comb.
I will call her and see if she will share the pics anyway. Give me a good reason to give a followup call and see how things are going...
