I'm impressed, but I can tell you I'd have to be too drunk to fish to even think about it.
-
Aww shoot that ain't nuthin'!!! Now if he tried to catch it by using his hand as bait, like those catfish noodlers do, now THAT would be impressive!!
Just kidding...that is awesome! How big is that one? 2-3 feet? I don't think that I'm going to show this one to my boys, just in case we're in 'gator country again....they would try it....
-
Impressive. I hope you didn't use one of your tags on him. Maybe bring him home and keep him in the bath tub for a while?
-
the gator was 4'2 and yes i used a tag on him.i get $500 for him mounted.the biggest i caught like that was 5'6.it is very hard to hold them because if they want to roll you cant stop them ,they are that strong. ...schawee

How much do you think that 13 footer from South Carolina cost to have him mounted?
-
And the wife wants to know "did you shoot him in the boat?"
-
Awesome!!

ALLEN, I CHARGE $425FT.ON GATORS 10'AND UP AND $250 MORE IF THEY WANT AN OPEN MOUTH.SO THAT 13'GATOR WOULD HAVE COST $5775 PLUS SHIPPING AND THAT RUNS FROM $800 TO $3500 IN THE US AND EVEN MORE TO OTHER COUNTRYS.BY THE WAY I DIDN'T SHOOT HIM IN THE BOAT :-D ...SCHAWEE

I thought about putting in for a gator tag here in Georgia, but I don't know what I would do with one. And the permit tuns 50 bucks and I would have to do some driving to the south to get one.
-
Come on down Allen...got a couple of big ones in the lake right now. Folks around here don't take kindly to the big ones being in the swimmin' hole so they usually don't last long :)

We normally get 4 footers in the lakes up here, but they don't last very long. DNR takes them back to south Georgia or they get poached. Of course somebody let them loose in the lake to start with. And the news people make more of it than it is. When the 4 year old gets a little older, I might take him. (Momma said she did not care, if you can believe that.)

allen both my girls killed their first gator at 4 and last year my grandson killed his when he was 4. i have 2years before my other grandson will be 4. ...schawee
