It's 10:20 a.m. right now. We're planning (Blalocktwin is my twin brother) to go check our five hives sometime after 12:00. Wish us luck! Three are Langs: two langs are strong and one is a colony that has been combined with a cut-out colony which we couldn't find the queen to so their queen is from neither the wild cut-out nor the original (queenless) hive--we had to go buy a queen for these bees.. And two hives are top bar hives.. One started in late March and it is and has ALWAYS seemed to be doing great. The other TBH is the result of a cut-out from behind a wall in a small announcers tower at a ball field.. They are usually doing fine and are just working on building up.
All five are in different locations, which isn't TOO problematic.. It will be interesting to see the different results due to the different locations.. [=
