Title: New from Kentucky
Post by: afretired on July 17, 2007, 10:09:45 pm
Great and informative site.  I retired from the Air Force eight years ago and moved back to KY, and went to work.  Since then I've been helping my Dad and uncle with a few hives, and have just about taken over since they are not able to take care of them anymore.  This summer has been extremely hard on the hives.  We are in the worst drought we have had for decades. With the drought not much is growing, much less blooming.

Welcome to the forum. It has been dry here in Georgia as well. I am having the same issue. Read, comment, or seek advice........this is a great forum with lots of very knowledgeable people that do not mind sharing their knowledge with others.

Dave, welcome and good luck, you have come to the right place for wonderful advice.  There will be other beekeepers that are sharing your dilema with bees.  They may be able to help you out.  Have a wonderful day, great life, Cindi
