Title: Where to buy copper naphthenate ?

I know of a supplier in Brisbane but I was wondering if it is available from a more local outlet like builders or landscaping suppliers to save on freight charges.

I saw some stuff yesterday at Bunnings called Wood preserver it was near the Linseed oil. I was thinking of painting Linseed oil and turps on to my hives as a preservative. Apparently thats works as a preservative as well..........
Do you paint the Copper nathenate on both the inside and outside of a hive?
Cheers
Steve

Apparently you are supposed to soak it -longer the better 8-12 hours or more. I have made my own wood preservative in the past for outdoor timber from anti-freeze (propylene glycol) and borax - but don't know how that would go down with the bees.
