Title: Packages w. Caucasian Queens ?
Post by: Sour Kraut on July 15, 2012, 02:30:09 pm
Good afternoon all;

Are Caucasian queens still available ?  (I mean for 2013, too late this year obviously)

Or have they, in the face of all the current diseases / pests, proven to be un-useable these days ?

Thanks to all in advance

Gary

Beware of dealing with caucasianbreeder.com as there has been many people who have lost money dealing with this "breeder".   Company names...Long Creek Apiaries and Winters' Apiaries....a one David Winters being the owner.  It appears that he has finally closed down shop, though, I'm not sure whether he's trying to make things "right" or not, now.  Just didn't want the OP emailing off and getting burned...

I think David is out of the biz now.

I don't know Mr. Winters personally and I wasn't sure if that was still a live email address or not.  I'm just aware of a lot of chatter from unhappy people who state they lost money dealing with him.  From the looks of his websites he appears to be shut down.  I just didn't want someone who was given an email address to go into a possible bad situation unaware.

Likewise, the OP might also want to do a little checking around regarding the current situation with Russell Apiary...seems there are several unhappy customers there, also.  Hopefully Russell will get the situation taken care of.

Best wishes,
Ed

Never dealt with Russell, just what I read on the net so I will not add to it other than do a search on this and the other site. I read enough to take the risk with one of the two Russells should I ever need to.

Sorry I forwarded a bad guy.  I am out $546. for queens and shipping for non recieved Russell queens.  I should have been more careful both times.  My apologies.
