It amazes me (as it did the guy in the background of the video) how the bees will march into the boxes. What makes them march in *without* the queen in there, though? I've got a video of a swarm from one of my hives moving into a box but I know for a fact that the queen did not go inside until half of the swarm was inside. I recall, too, one of your videos where a swarm was on the side of a pine tree...you set a box up against the tree and with basically no prompting the bees started marching inside and the queen wasn't the first one...she marched right on in like the rest of them. Is it the perceived dark cavity/entrance?
