The ant falls into the conical trap



a movement under its feets (or its legs)..., the ant rolls down the sandy wall



finally, the mirmidon or ant-lion, capture its prey

ant lions are cool! To bad about that ant though. You seem to have forgotten that I love ants too... Thats what I get for not visiting the forums often any more.

yes, a dozen of ants were selected among millions to play in my photo like food. :evil:
