Title: My inlaws
Post by: AllenF on April 03, 2010, 09:44:51 pm
I had Easter with the inlaws today and for dinner, they served smoked pork.  My father in law said "this looks great, we been eating baked chicken all week long.  The neighbors chicken house burned down last Sunday."

Now that's country style eating, fresh from the hen house to your plate.  Question: Were there any complaints about the pin feathers getting stuck between the teeth?

Not if you skin the birds before serving :) Your choice whether you skin them before you finish cooking them though. Some folks like that toasted aftertaste  :-D

Just as long as they cut the toe nails off the feet before serving.
