How long after a queen comes out of her cell that she leaves with a swarm?Does a queen mate before she swarms ?

The old queen normally leaves with the primary swarm. She usually leaves before the new queen has emerged

Afterswarms (not the primary swarm) leave with a virgin. She does NOT mate before they leave. She does have to have two or three days to "harden" before she's toughed up enough for the trip.
