One of the authors recommend not putting hives in cool, damp spots and to keep internal temps of the hive up... seems the virus can not replicate over 20° C.

After i lost 3 hives , i dumped the water i had out and put out coidle silver ( water )
for them untill it was gone i still have 2 strong hives.
we use it for everything for cut to mold, kills smells, fungus's and virouses.

what to do and what not to do???

the 'special' article posted by the ABJ and authored by Jim Fischer gave one or two direct suggestion on what to do and what not to do to encourage this problem.  as cam states high humidity and temperature are two of the primary considerations.
