Title: Beehives in 3D
Post by: 2-Wheeler on February 01, 2009, 01:17:22 am
Did you get some of those snazzy 3D glasses for the SuperBowl?  Well, don't use them to view my pictures, you'll need the conventional red-cyan 3D glasses to view these properly.

The superbowl 3D ads used something called "ColorCode" glasses and it is a special type of colored glasses that is incompatible with every other 3D image and video that uses colored glasses.

Well Cindy, here are a couple of solutions. You should be able to find "Red-Cyan Anaglyph" glasses with a Google or Yahoo shopping search. The paper ones shouldn't cost more than about $0.25.

You can  also "freeview" these cross-view 3D images without any special glasses.

They will look better if you click the image and go to the larger size.  To learn how to freeview a stereo 3D image by cross-viewing go to this link:

Enjoy,

David, don't have time right now, but I will go to that link to see how to cross view images, I don't want to bother to get some cyan glasses from e-bay.  I am marking this post as unread so I can go that link later.

I love the pictures of the hives with the bullrushes in the forefront, it looks really cool.  Have a great and wonderful day, great health, too.  Cindi

David, ha, hee, hee.  What a nightmare.  I have real troubles reading instructions and let me tell you, those instructions for freeviewing just about drove me nuts and I stopped even trying to figure them out not long after I began.  Oh brother.  One day I will no doubt have some 3D glasses in my possession, for whatever reason, and I will go back to this thread and look at your pictures, but until then, just a thought.  Have a great and most wonderful day, life, attract that great health.  Cindi
