Do bees like Soda(root beer, 7-Up etc)? Is it good for them?
-
They like anything sweet. No, it isn't good for them. It contains corn starch.
-
Its also the Highftruitos corn syurps as well not the corn starch. HFCS are bad for bees and humans.
-
Honey is a mixture of different types of sugars, water, and small amounts of other compounds. Honey typically has a fructose/glucose ratio similar to HFCS 55, as well as containing some sucrose and other sugars. Like HFCS, honey contains water and has approximately 3 kcal per gram. Because of its similar sugar profile and lower price, HFCS is used as bee feed instead of honey during the winter.
-
Wynoochee_new, Allen is correct. Commercial beeks buy hfcs by the semi tanker load to feed bees. It is the corn starch that gives the bees dysentery.
-
they seem to like beer also.
no reason to believe that HFCS is any worse for humans than white sugar. all things in moderation.

all things in moderation.
:-D I LIKE THAT PHRASE :-D and you're so right by that
-
As long as they don't put HFCS in beer....
