I have had bees living in two buildings on our place and didn't want to kill them so I've decided to join them by ordering some hives. I took a short introductory course and was overwhelmed by the information but very interested. This forum should really help.

Welcome to the forum, KarlD. The is lots of info, threads, and videos here. If you have a question just post a thread someone will usually help. You may also want to check into a local bee club. It may also help if you tell where you are. Good luck

Karl,
Sounds like you're on the standard path...
1) Interested...
2) Overwhelmed...
3) Really Interested...
Not sure if you've hit stage 4 yet, but it's addiction!
At least that's how it's trending for me. :)
Welcome to the forum. You've found a great asset here not to mention lots of nice folks, don't be afraid to reach out to them, they can be a real lifesaver in the confusing and challenging world of being a Beek.

Welcome I am just a little over a week in with my first hive. The people on here have been great help.
On Moots scale, I guess about 2 and 1/2. :)
I get two nucs on Monday for two more hives.
So I guess I'm addicted now.

Thanks for all you friendly greetings. I ordered some boxes and frames and am looking forward to nailing them together and getting started. I've got two hives which are super defensive and need to be re-located from a couple of roofs. I plan to be suited up to the max....but I'm going to keep using this forum for info in the meantime.
