Congrats, sc. I know you are on cloud 9, with every right to be.

Ditto.
Quite the accomplishment. You should be proud.

Brag on.
Quite difficult matters can be explained even to a slow-witted man, if only he has not already adopted a wrong opinion about them; but the simplest things cannot be made clear even to a very intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he already knows, and knows indubitably, the truth of the matter under consideration. -Leo Tolstoy

Someone really ought to tell them that the world of Ayn Rand?s novel was not meant to be aspirational.

Thanks all for the compliments. It has been a long hard road for him..... harder than any of us ever could have anticipated. He has faced things no young man his age should have to face. Hopefully it is the Lords way for preparing him for the future. He is scheduled to graduate in early May and commission as a 2nd Lt. in the Army. Branching assignments should be soon and his desire is Infantry, one of the more competitive slots for a Junior Officer to receive. Wish him well and say a prayer for him.

Thanks
Steve

Army decided he will be going to Field Artillery. He is dreading the Math and Physics again. He has not had math since his Freshman year. I hear Ft. Sill is loads of fun

Thanks for the compliment and Gods speed to your son. I too have heard the same about Ft. Sill. Whenever a slot is open I guess he has 5 1/2 mos to find out
