hello from centralia
« on: April 20, 2009, 09:36:10 pm »
I just signed on today and am in process of building a warre style hive.  I won't be getting any bees this year but I am having fun with building the hive.

welcome to the forum.
Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

Rodney, welcome to our forum, great you found us.  You are readying for the bees, perhaps you WILL get a chance to catch a swarm, then lookout!!!  You will be held under their spell and will need to know more and more, they are a fascinating thing to watch and study.  THis will be a place where you can tell your tales, stories, experiences, learn lots of stuff and also, make new friends.  Stick around, we love new members.  Have that most most wonderful and great day, health.  Cindi
There are strange things done in the midnight sun by the men who moil for gold.  The Arctic trails have their secret tales that would make your blood run cold.  The Northern Lights have seen queer sights, but the queerest they ever did see, what the night on the marge of Lake Lebarge, I cremated Sam McGee.  Robert Service

Welcome!  I have a blast building the equipment as well.  There is something relaxing about making stuff out of wood that does not involve a home repair project which must be completed quickly  ;)
