I just lost a swarm I was trying so hard to catch. Next time I should try this method.

i have to come in contact with this "farm" i wanna know if they have any problems with varroa, since they beek naturally.
still i wonder...isn't it against the law to keep bees in a non-movable comb hive, maybe not in germany...

I once caught a swarm at a school that was ageing, although I wouldn't consider it old..... :roll:

Very neat stuff!!! And I think the smoker was in his mouth not around his neck? Makes sense hands-free :-D
