Title: Queen Bee Tincture
Post by: jmblakeney on January 24, 2013, 06:40:20 pm
I have a bottle of tincture that I place mean or underachieving queens in.  I spread some around in baithives when setting them out.

I had some hives die this winter and was wondering is it ok to put those queens in this tincture as well or is it just wasted time?

Thanks,

James

I probably won't hurt, but I think their pheromones have probably been dried out at this point...

So that would be called a "tincture"? I just call it queen juice.  :-D
