Whas Dis?

Got a new weed in the yard. What is it?

I was born about 100 years too early, or to late.

The leaves look a lot like cilantro, but I'm sure that's probably not what it is.

Yup, shawn's got it, that is columbine.

A biennial, it spreads by seeds so will show up in new spots occasionally.  And it isn't a weed, you can buy it at the store.

I suppose you can buy black-eye susans and shasta daisies too, and those have turned into weeds by me...

Someone really ought to tell them that the world of Ayn Rand?s novel was not meant to be aspirational.

So funny that a plant that's "too easy" to grow is a weed!

I've been babying my California native columbines, but the slugs love them almost as much as I do.

I have planted many Columbines around the yard. For what ever reason most have died out but now I have them coming up everywhere, the seeds. Its too bad teh bees cant use them.

Columbine :)

Is aristocracy.
