That happened before we got there but if I'm not mistaken it was Bud that shot the limb.

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

Sorry Scott , I had forgotten how you ringbarked the limb before busting it with the .22 when it got tangled on the way down.

Kathy, I don't have a whole lot of soap in inventory right now but I'll be making a couple of batches at the end of the month. You just want to pick it up at Bud's?

Anybody have the phone number for that motel that I stayed at last year. I want to make my reservation directly with the motel and not thru their 800 number.

Thanks, Larry

Larry, I have no idea where you stayed last year...But assuming it was at what appears to be the only hotel in Macon, MS.

River Chase Inn
12710 Highway 45, Macon, MS 39341
(662) 726-4334

Hope this is it and helps.  :)

Thanks, but I think it was the Oaktree Inn or something like that. I'm pretty sure it was a Best Western Motel. Larry

Larry,
I may be mistaken...I've never been to Macon before...However, I'm looking forward to this April!  :-D

Anyway!  I think they're one and the same, they both show the same address.

Oak Tree Inn

And

River Chase Inn

Probably worth a phone call to end the mystery.  :)

I'm interested in making a trip to Mississippi for this.  Anyone from St Louis or Memphis care to meet up and carpool?
