HOW LATE IS TOO LATE TO START A NUC? I LIVE IN SOUTH CENTRAL GEORGIA.

Down here in central Florida I usually do my nuc splits in August so they're ready for the first flow in January. If you get snow up there then you'd clearly want to do it earlier. This is a little long but, it gives the bees enough time to build up population in a nuc and draw out comb in a deep. They usually require some feeding.
